MAC attended the Black Student Leadership Council’s African American Professionals Day and Career Fair, where team members and MAC members, including 2025 Pitch Black Finalist Tiffany Gamble, engaged with students to provide professional guidance, mentorship, and empowerment for the next generation of leaders.
MAC partnered with the Black Student Leadership Council at their Health & Wellness Symposium, where Chelsea Akyeampong and Board Member Cameron Herbert distributed professional attire and assisted students in preparing for their next steps.

Week 8 of the MAC Xcelerator Program, the Investor’s Meet Up, provided participants with insights into the startup ecosystem, investor expectations, business plan development, due diligence, and loan preparation, highlighted by networking and speed meetings with seasoned investors including Jim Reiff, John Hamilton, Terence Ross, Shelby Strattan, Scott Henderson, and Gibril Mansaray.
Week 6 of the MAC Xcelerator Program focused on building healthy, diverse, and effective teams by exploring team building, HR, DEI principles, and entrepreneur wellness, with guidance from Shawntal Mallory, Jill Thompson, and Leressa Joiner.
Week 5 of the MAC Xcelerator Program guided participants in writing and refining their business plans, covering management, product/service, marketing, and financial planning, with insights from Elyse Whittemore from Nebraska Business Development Center and April Hibbler Nebraska Opportunities Exchange.
Week 4 of the MAC Xcelerator Program focused on refining participants’ businesses by developing organizational structures, understanding cash flow versus profits, projecting finances, identifying funding needs and goals, and exploring appropriate funding sources, with guidance from financial experts Gibril Mansaray and Brittany Harris from Omaha 100.
The Rising CEOs Summit and Graduation celebration showcased students’ final business pitches in a competitive judging format, followed by a formal commencement and awards ceremony honoring their achievements, growth, and entrepreneurial success.
